      A bit late but yes, that was a bummer. One of the best drummers in rock history. As most know he also wrote the lyrics for Rush. And he was a very kind person (at least from what you can see on YouTube) even if he was battered by fate.

      I happen to be watching a Rush interview right now. My biggest inspiration for 40 years. I've even forgiven them for contributing to my hearing damage...

      I really like Rush. Saw them live in London 2013. Neil Peart was legendary.

      Rush made really interesting music. The more you hear it, the better it gets, I think. Very original band.

      Now I listen to old Rainbow albums in the background , along with tinnitus .. well, I hang on.. Music helps!!

      Rainbow Rising! RJD greatest voice in heavy rock /metal also passed away of cancer at the same age. I still listen to music and my 7.1 home theater. I do not find it affects much. I go to the gym 4 to 5 days a week no hear plugs. One thing I have learned is tinnitus is going to do what it's going to do no matter what.
