      Hello guys!

New Year is coming soon and I wish a good year to you all :)

Just a friendly reminder that there are always idiots and assholes out there that are using firecrackers (usually those small but very loud ones) outside before and after New Year's Eve. I heard a few last night that some kids were using and it was just outside my house. There is a store selling big ones just a block from me and I am getting both anxious and angry that people still can't respect others and not use it during midnight on Dec 31st ONLY.

Anyway, I will use earplugs all the time when I am outside since I have no idea who is going to use the crackers around me and I would recommend you all to do it as well if you have similar problems around your house too. Last thing we need is a firecracker going off close to us.

My parent's expect me on New Year's but I am seriously worried and anxious to go there despite being 10 min by bus since I don't want to have a scare with fireworks going off on my way there and back :/

      Unfortunately yes :(
I usually go without plugs from the train to my house since it's always quiet but now I keep hearing those crackers and I wouldn't want anyone else to to get exposed :(
It's a shame that we have to adapt to disrespectful people but it is the way it is!

Yes! But also they aren't aware of what we are aware of. That's why they are reckless.

I stopped going to New Years Eve festivities. Too risky for me even with earplugs.

Ditto for 4th of July fireworks (or any fireworks for that matter).
