Hello everyone. Has anyone developed tinnitus from taking Nexium? It’s rare but it’s possible. If so, did it go away if and when you stopped taking it?

Also, ladies, due to hormonal changes before and during menopause, has anyone developed tinnitus and if so, did it ever go away after hormones balanced out?

I’m so frustrated, as most of you know the emotions associated with this disturbance.

Years ago I was on Nexium for a long time - 2-3 months if I'm not mistaken and had no problem. But yeah tinnitus is a side effect of Nexium but is not that common. If you are sure it's from Nexium talk with your doctor and ask for an alternative.
