Mine seem better, I think because I am more relaxed, and my mind drift into meditation.

It differs for me. Sometimes my T becomes almost non-existent when I lie down and other times it becomes almost unbearable loud.

So with body positions also the focus changes.
      That is true, of course.
What i do not understand, in your case, if the change in the focus changes the volume of percepted tinnitus, how your focus is more on the tinnitus when getting up and starting to do other things, and less on the tinnitus, and when your mind starts drifting, so, let free, without any particular subject to relfect upon, could choose, as the object of interest, the tinnitus?
Could you tell me more? This is my personal curiosity, you do not have to answer it.
On a scale from 1 to 10 how loud is your tinnitus?
How loud it is when it is the loudest, and how low when it is the "softest"?
(Please excuse my many questions, but i am trying to figure out what's with this change in tinnitus ('s perception) when lying down versus standing.

And you are not the only one whose tinnitus gets better when lying down, two cases already, so, besides you, somebody else. There may be more, we will see.

Maybe changes from lying down are caused by blood flow changes.

Mine also seems to be louder when I lie down. I think it has to do with the positioning of my neck and shoulders

I get a lot of changes if I lay down for the night. I have a few different tones in both ears and they usually either grow louder or become continuous (whereas they are intermittent throughout the day). My bed used to be my 'safe haven'. Nowadays I dread having to go to sleep for fear of waking up during the night to a whole different sort of torment.

Does a raise in intracranial pressure have any effect on tinnitus?

Yes, because pushing against my head, or neck, which is fused, will cause T volume to increase. Chewing is still louder though for me. Wearing my neck collar, pushing up under the chin, makes the highest sounding note
