Hi I’m 27 years old. I’ve been suffering with this whooshing sound for the past 5 weeks.

It started as a whooshing noise. I was convinced I had water stuck in my ear. It’s now developed into this constant beating sound.

I finally took myself to the doctor, he gave me steroid nasal spray and seems to think all my sinuses are blocked.

The ear tubes don't seem to be doing anything but I have only had them since Friday.

Anyone had this and it has been the tube blocked?

      Probably headphones/speakers and/or water damage
Sorry you've been dealing with that. Ive got prettt bat tinnitus/hyperacusis, and it's a real bummer. Since yours started so recently hopefully it will only be temperary. Whatever you do, don't let a doctor/nurse syringue your ears (flush them with water) because although many doctors don't realise it it's very unsafe and can cause tinnitus/hyperacusis. I made mine really bad when I tried to do it.

Best of wishes in dealing with the pulsatile Tinnitus, and I hope it improves for you.
