Ringing Transformed into Hissing

My tinnitus has fully transformed into hissing/air leaking sound... And it keeps getting louder, I used to not even hear it at night, now I sometimes notice it over the TV.

I apparently have ETD, and sometimes when I grind my teeth, my tinnitus spikes, so maybe TMJ and ETD, I don't know, but I just want to stop this from getting worse!

 

That's usually a good sign.

 

I’ve also heard that that’s a good sign it might go away entirely. Have you had your hearing tested? Maybe a professional can help give you some answers.
