      Tinnitus Since:
      08/2004
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Loud concert
...was not a band name I was thinking of forming...(reference to the title)

I am wondering of the science/evidence behind spikes from noise that shouldn’t harm, but due to our sensitive states do.

I say this as I am spiking from momentary exposure to a neighbours lawnmower and have previously spiked from a shower!

What I want to know is:
      (1) are these spikes resolvable as the noise isn’t objectively harmful?
      (2) Should we protect against these noises?

I’m at a crossroads and not wanting to always overprotect, but spiking no noises which shouldn’t be that harmful...

      All feedback welcome, as usual!

      Thanks community

      Tinnitus Since:
      Jan 20/2018
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Most likely accoustic trauma
Do not overprotect, but protect enough not to cause further harm..as I mentioned in previous thread, I used to wear electronic earmuffs that cut out anything above 60DB (I think) and they did a good job.
