I am outside a lot...avid swimmer and cyclist. Fitness nut. Almost everyday. Have a bit of a tan year around. Wear no. 50 sunblock and try to avoid the most intense sun period of the day.

Anything to distract from tinnitus I believe to be a positive. I don't think about my tinnitus much outside when drowned out by noise. Exercise is also relaxing, so my tinnitus more or less melts away outside but is or can be pretty loud indoors.

A little bit of sun is a good thing for overall health...vitamin D.

long term noise exposure (headphones), maybe some stress.
Never thought about that connection. Heat on the other hand, can spike my tinnitus a bit.......but that's because I don't tolerate heat well (anything over 25 degrees celsius is quite uncomfortable for me). I'm a real viking who prefers colder weather.

I have always lived in very warm weather, and for some time even in the desert. Lately I notice that my tinnitus spikes after being exposed to the sun at midday, the warmest hours, so I was wondering if someone else notices the same connection between sun exposure and tinnitus.

Summer in Scandinavia is great! I went to the Lofoten Islands and loved it! It was hard getting there, though.

I have had the impression before that sunshine on my head temporarily worsens my tinnitus disease.
But it can also be "imagination".
Since I don't have much hair on my head anymore, I wear a basecap in sunshine since then.
