      Hi, I have tinnitus from endolymphatic hydrops.

      It's like lava erupting in my inner ear.

      In a good patch I can go for months without significant tinnitus but then I'll have very loud, low tinnitus and fluctuating hyperacusis.

      I control diet to the Nth degree, no salt, caffeine, alcohol, additives, sulphites, medication not even vitamins, they all spike my tinnitus.

      Even mineral water can set off my tinnitus!

      Also no water in ear, cinema and high pitched singing set it off.

      Now the weather seems to be affecting it. I'm desperate to hear from anyone who thinks I'm not going crazy and is also sensitive to stuff. Had tinnitus for 3 years but 2 years in this heightened state.

      Hi, thanks for the reply. The ENT won't diagnose full blown Menieres. I do have a lot of the symptoms though. Do you have Menieres?

      @Julia Garrett ,
      Yes I do and had it many years.
      Keep a log of your flairup's and symptoms for future reference for ENT.
      Meniere's can take years to get a diagnosis.
