TRT and Noise Generator

      I had another question. When the tinnitus in only one ear is you can use the sound generator only at this hearing or may worsen the other ear if only a single noise generator is used ?

      Sorry to ask so many questions in a short time.

      In TRT, even if tinnitus is in one ear, you use noise generators in both ears. If you are using a noise generator in only one ear, you are not doing TRT.

      In masking, however, you can sometimes use a noise generator in one ear - and in such cases I am unaware of any instances where the other ear has gotten worse in any way.
