When I do the valsalva maneuver my left ear (the mostly affected) does absolutely nothing, like it's empty.

I know it's not normal so I want your ideas on this.

Do you know any words I could search like pressure problems (already searched).

My tinnitus was caused by an acoustic trauma 1 year and a half ago.

My tinnitus was also caused by an acoustic trauma and I have similar problems with ears feeling blocked. I believe in my case it's linked with hearing loss.

Loud noise exposure / headphone accident maybe?
Do be carefull when you do this, if you do it too hard you could get a barotrauma.

When you say valsalva maneuver, I assume you are doing this when flying or mountain driving, to pop your ears?
or are you doing it just because your ear feels blocked?

It's the first time I was trying it. I saw a video of a doctor on youtube that told to try it.
Even if I was septic and don't try these most of the time I tried it.
I'm just really desesperate and wanted to do something because my left ear feels bad since one year and a half.
