I am a retired Silicon Valley engineer. I acquired tinnitus in 1994. It has subsided in recent years so I was not actively seeking treatment. However, about a year ago I suffered a serious hearing injury from an unexpected iPhone speaker blast. I noticed on the Tinnitus Talk thread that others have been injured similarly. I am interested in joining this discussion to meet people who have sustained similar injuries and how they are treating them.
