Early age (four or five) unknown reason for ears to ring in multiple tones and pitches lasting for a few seconds to minutes or rest of day/time (ignore it with what I am concentrated on such as reading etc.). For the past few years, my right ear has a new rhythmic tone, with pressure, fluid feeling, jaw pain, tender, suckin eardrum, and PE Tubes again for both left and right ears. For the past two to four years I have been to the ENT Dr. about fluid, pain, jaw, ringing and tenderness. Dr. stated no fluid, even with fluid feeling, no infection, and still small hole from previous tube adjustment few months ago. Ent Dr. could not help me with ear pain as I stated my jaw was bothering me. My dentist says the same thing but about my ear, as they are not an ENT. The part I am getting frustrated with is the ENT finds no fluid, but feels like fluid or infection and the loud rhythmic humming tone of humming which is usually high pitch ping, which I still have. Which I have noticed coincides with headaches and migraines which are usually light sensitivity or hot weather activity related. Along with the pressure in my ear. Other then ignoring the rhythmic humming and pressure, I have resorted to placing my finger inside my ear to separate my ear from my jaw to provide a few seconds to minutes of relief. Anyone have any suggestions on what is going on, or how to help the rhythmic portion to stop.
