Oh this is the worst yes. I can hear music and bass in the cars that are at least 40 feet away from me. And I can hear lyrics! I am so shocked. I'm getting spikes and worsenings just by simply sounds above 60 decibels yet they are blasting 110 decibels and totally fine. Life is cruel. I hate living

Love the sounds of birds and wind, and generally outside noise, helps quite a bit

@crescentsky the reason is that chronic T has nothing to do with noise imo. if being around constant noise like bars, concerts, nfl games etc caused chronic T, every single person i know would have it.

Think it’s something to do with the brain. Same as how some people get phantom pain and some don’t with missing limbs

He can. I know that. It has to do with whether He will or note. We know He does not heal everyone, and He has purposes that He does not always reveal to us. I'd encourage you read 2 Corinthians. He did not heal the Apostle Paul.

Sometimes I go a few days with no spontaneous thumps. It's hard to say with the fluttering because that requires certain stimulus which I'm not always subjected to. I suspect it would start up within 10 minutes of watching the Shore webinar.

@cjbhab Well, other videos with voices that don't have other background audio mixed in will trigger it also, like listening to a podcast from Tinnitus Talk, when I'm listening at my computer. Real voices can trigger the fluttering also. Typing on computer keyboard has triggered it a little bit.

Yes, it has a very few times actually, just like other movements or stretching have. I've had it start in the middle of the night a few times because of that. So, try to be relaxed and not exert yourself.

Absolutely the same. My hearing is very good yet I have hyperacusis and tinnitus that I hear above everything

My city has a noise ban as well as fireworks, no one follows/not enforce. The only punishment should just be instant death for violators, no warnings, no fees.

@BB23 if someone cared about money they’d find a way to make a pill that gives me daily silence and charge me $50 a day for it for the rest of my life.

@crescentsky Yup. They would say this points to a "mental health crisis" and a need to prescribe more SSRIs.

@cjbhab same here, but I think God doesn't always give us what we think is best. I don't know all the answers, but I do know He is interested. Please forgive me if I sound like a know it all. I am not.

I'm pessimistic as well. I think it is mostly the middle option. At this rate I probably will be dead soon too.

Maybe they are habituated, and the people who come here are not. That is what I think I think people come here searching for an answer, and if they have even a partial one, they don't come back.

Some are surprisingly alive, some are I bet dead. I think very few recovered where they live normal lives. At least from the severe cases.
