I have done 22 sessions so far. As far as improvement goes well I can say that my hearing has stabilized and the intensity has decreased a bit although not quite to my liking . I guess u had too much hope with HBOT. I still hav 2 sessions to go and immediately the next day I travel about 11...

I use the site via android and chrome. The site runs fine no problem only when you try to edit the post or click in the avatars the popup opens up outside the screen if its zoomed in. Rest the site is perfect. Oh and the box for writing the posts sure could be slightly bigger right...
Wow! There are just so many approaches being tried. Yet they are to categorize which treatment would work for what. I think vns stimulation would suit more for ppl with non cochlear tinnitus. Although then they don't describe the patients history any where.
Well apologies for mis understanding it wrong. Me to hope that it works cause mine is absolutely terrible and it keeps shifting and so does my hearing. Is it possible that that's bcoz of the phenomenon you talk about.

There may be good logic to what you have to say. Let's say there is some amount of damage to the haircells. This intern would cause an imbalance in the gain each neuron is asked to apply. Suddenly the neuron looses input but continues to apply the gain. So it's a sort of amplifier feedback...

What do you think, can a hearing aid with the proper settings help, sit in absolute dead silence with a configuration that amplifies your tinnitus frequency sounds then very slowly remove the amplification while the brain adapts. It would take quite some time though.
