Hi all. I see often that people here refer to their tinnitus as 'level 2', or 5, or 9. I find it difficult to relate to. Zero is obvious, but what is a 1, and what is a 10 then? How do I tell what level my tinnitus is, if someone should ask?

Whenever I use my headphones it's always on low volume.

I read on this forum that some people advise against using headphones, even at low volume. I cannot understand why. If the volume is low, how could it be a problem? I work in a noisy office environment and have to use headphones to be able to concentrate. Also I use them for masking my tinnitus.
