I wonder what the frequency range is and if it matters. I am afraid this kind of headphones convey a very limited range of audio frequencies, e.g., up to 8 kHz, so you might not stimulate the specific region in the brain associated with the perception of higher frequencies.
Even if they are not able to establish control group, it's possible to create multiple groups each receiving specific number of treatment hours per week. By showing correlation between treatment time and THI reduction (or any other indicator), they will be able to prove effectiveness of the therapy.

Please note that this study is in "Active, not recruiting" state, meaning that they have fully enrolled enough people to conduct study and will not enroll new ones.
Even without a control group, the effects are quite impressive. I doubt that someone could report such big improvement due to the placebo effect.
Does it need to go through a series of clinical trials? If I understand correctly, this is a combination of methods we already have.
Yes, it makes sense that it's protected intellectual property and they do not want to disclose it. Anyway, it's quite hard to fully protect against reverse engineering for sound therapies if sound files are available to some audience.
Is there any place where I can find some information regarding how this sound therapy works? I've quickly gone through the model description itself and it's pretty clear for me, but there is nothing about the algorithm of the sound generation. I am not sure if this information has been disclosed.
There are 3 countries in Europe which participate in the clinical trial: Germany, UK and Poland. Full list here:

I wish the same to you!
Hi everyone,
I've decided to post my first message here after almost a year of struggling with tinnitus in my left ear. It started at the end of March 2021 and I am not fully sure about the reason. I am sure that daily headphone usage contributed to the onset of tinnitus.
My audiograms are...
