I'm pretty sure the tinnitus started with the fireworks, but I have had it so long that I'm not sure. At one point, approximately 15 years ago, I did a lot of reading/research trying to find relief. My results turned up nothing but the fact that I had to learn to live with it. I once bought some little white pills online before I realized the extent of the scamming going on associated with tinnitus. Most of the time, I'm able to stop thinking about it, but depending on conditions, I have days/weeks were the high pitched squealing drives me crazy. I have no clue what to do about it and long ago became resigned to living with it.
