Waking up is terrible and I need to get out of bed asap because otherwise bad thoughts run through my mind.

ENT's seem to forget that tinnitus has no limits. Especially those who live with tinnitus themselves.

Had to escape the waiting room of the ophthalmologist.
I'm self employed and have to explain customers they cannot visit me at my office and I cannot speak to them on the phone...
Even a good night's sleep doesn't lower my tinnitus a bit anymore. Awakening hell.

Tinnitus is terrible today, several fleeting tinnitus periods too.
So lucky to live in Belgium, you can easily apply for euthanasia. I don't have to google for the best suicide method.
Hyperacusis and tinnitus can drive you nuts.
