Anyone habituated to the point tinnitus isn’t ruining their life?

Is it possible to ever laugh and have fun again after getting tinnitus. I’m ready to to pack it in.

I reluctantly took Mirtazapine for 10 days until one morning I woke up with ringing in my ears. I stopped immediately but two weeks later the ringing has not stopped. I’m praying it will stop sometime. I can’t sleep and will soon lose my job. Anyone have Mirtazapine induced tinnitus stop or...
