I get a direct result when taking ibuprofen for pain: 200 mg = head explosion via T.

Use of any OTC painkillers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen spikes my tinnitus. As a result I am constantly having to choose between pain (eg. headache, back pain, shoulder pain, every day aches and pains) and elevated noise in my head. This makes surgery - which I probably need - terrifying.

I am new to this forum and right off looked for a discussion of OTC pain medications. I was a moderate user of ibuprofen and/or aspirin for years and for the last several years have taken virtually nothing for occasional aches and pains. So far as I know all of them hurt your ears, Tylenol...
