Hard to say really, my tinnitus seemed to react while getting brain zapped which could be an interesting sign, it seemed less intrusive for a few days after, however I may have had the placebo and a lucky couple of days so I wouldn't draw any conclusions from my experience.

I had this initial thought when I first heard about CRISPR. If tinnitus has an identifiable genetic component, could we just rewrite them? Someone far smarter than me should run a clinical trial.

Dr. Shore's device theoretically is a more targeted application. Think instead of taking a painkiller this is applying it directly to the place it hurts. Worth waiting on Phase 3 results.

I don't pretend to know what kinds of regulations there are as to whether drugs are 'new' and require the full pipeline from pre-clinical to Phase 3 but I would assume Prof. Tzounopoulos fallen afoul of something — that means RL-81 needs to be tested thoroughly from the ground up. He doesn't...

Unfortunately not, since we saw a publication last month I imagine it'll be slow going until some clinical trials are hopefully announced. However if you check Professor Tzounopoulos' publications this year already, he is a busy one...

Once again reminding you that Dr. Shore's device has worked on people in this very thread and the data Susan Shore has released so far is promising. Maybe it won't work, but you definitely don't know that.
