Long time Tinnitus sufferer and also a recovering alcoholic. A big part of my recovery from alcoholism has been getting deeply involved with my family, work and hobbies -- some new, some old. Ensuring I maintain a full life has made the battle against tinnitus bearable. I find I can lose myself in loved ones, riding or what have you and forget about the tinnitus for a while.

Sadly, quiet time is something I'd really cherish but its tough because as I'm sure all of you know, that is when it is hard to block out the raging tinnitus. So mostly...I try to stay busy.
