Your entire argument for the standard audiogram is that it's the current standard. And at this point I don't think it's any big secret that high frequency hearing above 8 kHz helps with hearing in noise.

i did water fasting a month or 2 ago. tinnitus significantly improved, can't say the 2 are related or not because i did it for weight loss purposes. going to go on another several day or week long water fast. if anyone is interested in fasting just to try it whether its for possibly helping...
