    Yes, waiting is definitely difficult. I hope they are successful. Who knows, they might even have promising data before then. If the cochlear implants monitor the health of the ear and patients send data daily, hopefully that helps move things forward. I’m not sure myself, though.

    So does this mean they are conducting trials? I’ve struggled with ear infections, which I believe may be related to vestibular function or Eustachian tube dysfunction, although I’m not completely sure. In any case, I just want to hear normally—so sign me up when it happens!

    From my understanding, he is working with a small team that is continuing the work started by Frequency Therapeutics. He mentioned that they have found another molecule that may work better than the one used previously. However, they are not certain yet and need to study this new molecule...

    I am not sure. I know Dr. Jeffrey Michael Karp is working on it. It sounds like he is collaborating with others.

    I have thought about this! I believe it is still being worked on in the lab. From my understanding, they might have found a better molecule. They just need funding to move the research forward, and it seems very close!

    They already know how to regenerate the cells. Do you think that if this works, we will have a treatment very soon that will restore all the hearing cells?

    June is coming up very quickly. Has there been any update about the NS101 trial? I have not been able to find much information myself. Hopefully, they will share something soon. Since it says the treatment could work even beyond the rescue phase, I hope they consider running a trial for those...
