Sudden deaf syndrome in 2011. Treated with steroid injections (2) into left ear and a course of prednisone. I regained some of my hearing in that ear but also gained tinnitus. Recently the tinnitus has amped up in volume. I have learned from this forum it could be something called a spike. I saw Dr. to rule out wax or infection it was neither. Trying to reach a level of acceptance with this new condition .
