Would You Trade Your Tinnitus for...

The reason I know that is because when my T started, I would daydream about it magically disappearing one day. And it never happened, but the sooner I accepted that it was here to stay the quicker I got better and forgot about it. Now it's a null issue in my life.

Would You Trade Your Tinnitus for...

With all due respect I don't much see the point of this thread. You can't trade your tinnitus for anything unfortunately, and that shouldn't be any sufferer's concern. Do You Ever Habituate to Complete Silence (Silent Room)?

Though I've never had a trouble sleeping in a silent room with my T (when I'm tired, I fall asleep in minutes), I do have trouble focusing in a silent room. I'm a medical student so that means that studying on the desk in my bedroom is very challenging for the sole fact that my tinnitus...

    Tinnitus Retraining Therapy

Hello all! I am new to this forum. I have had tinnitus and hearing loss in my left ear since some physical trauma in Aug. 2013. I also have mild hyperacusis (or so I believe). Over the past year, my tolerance to my T has been on and off. Some days I almost like it, seeing it as being part of...
