Yeah I found it pretty good at masking my T. Id give it a shot if you find your T annoying you during the day. As Markuu said, it can be done manually as well, actually if you read the AudioNotch blog they actually have a section describing how to notch sounds manually without their service.
Hi Debs,
Sorry to hear about your frequency increase, I hope it improves for you soon. I am sure it will. I actually did not travel this week due to work and weather issues. I have to re-arrange another appointment.
I agree, Id rather have the device than be without it but I do find I am...
ah thanks Louise, ill do that.
I basically do not go to loud pubs or night clubs anymore, and when I do go out anywhere that I know will be loud such as exceeding 65 or 70 decibels, I make sure to wear ear plugs. I have two pairs, a generic ER20 ear plug and a custom fit ER25 ear plug. I...
Hi Markku,
Yes I agree, when a person first gets Tinnitus its very frightening and is usually at its worst because its so new and so very strange. During this period, treatments have to be put in place to help people cope. Just trying a treatment often helps as it gives hope and the sensation...
Hi Louise,
Again sorry for the late reply, I don't get notification emails when a response happens on the forum and I often forget to check in to see new entries.

Hi Debjj,
Yeah it makes for a long day of traveling, but like you it has done me good. For traveling on the plane, and on some of the noisier trains I wear a pair of musician earplugs. They really help bring noise down to more comfortable levels. I only wear them when absolutely necessary as I...
Hi Debjj,
Sorry for my late reply. Yeah I think we may be on the same trial also. I go to the Ear Institute, UCL not far from Kings Cross train station for my treatment. The staff are very nice, but yeah at the start they could not tell you much about the treatment because of the trial...
Hi Louise,
Sorry for my late reply. No, the trials are currently still in full swing, I am over half way through the trial. Yes my T is tonal, but I am unsure if this is a prerequisite for inclusion in the trial. During some of the T matching programs it does ask you if your T matches a Tonal...
HI all,
I have been on the trial in the UK since the end of September. I have recently been told that I have received the correct treatment (not placebo) since the beginning of the trial. So far I have very little change in my tinnitus (if any). Apparently it can take up to 6 months for this...
