I have had tennitus as far back as I can remember. When I was young I thought I was hearing radio waves and everybody heard it. When I reached I teens I learned of tennitus and realized not everybody heard the radio waves. Had it all my life in the background. Never really bothered me. I only really heard it when I paid attention to it.

In October of 2022 at age 64 it suddenly increased in"volume" to the point where I had to seek help. It's so high frequency in multiple tones and never subsides unless I'm sleeping. Got to the point where it was all consuming and ruining my life. Visited several high end audiologists. Experimented with various hearing aids with masking. Multiple white noise apps. All kinds of supplements. All to no avail.
