Monty
I've had T ever since I can remember. I put the date based on specifically remembering listening to the sound to help me go to sleep one night as a little boy. I never thought of it as a problem since I always had it. As a teen, I heard that Lou Ferrigno had ringing in the ears. That's when I first knew that it was a problem.
I guess I have habituated to it. Sometimes I need to stop and listen for it. Then when I do, it is very loud, like it is now.
My real problem is 1) I cannot hear in places with many people where there is a high ceiling. All the sounds get mixed together and I can't pick out the voice of the person in front of me. 2) Talking on the phone is frustrating. I need to run to the quietest spot I can find and then I have a chance to understand.
I have joined TT to see if there are any tricks that have helped others.
