Zimichael: I think you're definitely onto something there!

FWIW I took 200mg/day of doxy many years ago. I recall it gave me worryingly loud tinnitus but it faded away fairly quickly within a few weeks. My gut feeling tells me that Doxy is mildly ototoxic.

I just want to say thank you for your site. I'm primarily posting this to in the hope that it may warn someone who's about to take an ototoxic anti-biotic, or has already taken some and has started to notice some tinnitus. I had an eye infection and unfortunately I was too busy with work to...
