Where did you read that ? I asked on this forum some weeks ago which kind of sound was used in susan shore's therapy, and nobody had the response.

I am surprised Susan Shore has not mentionned hyperacusis yet, because many people who have tinnitus have hyperacusis too.

I have one more question : will this new treatement be efficient on both tinnitus and hyperacousis ? (I have both)

Do we know which kind of sound is used in this treatment ? Is it a notch sound minus tinnitus frequency ? (Sorry if this has already been asked before)
