From what I hear/read if smoking gives you some sense of relief from tinnitus you should continue to smoke because we all know that we're not getting out of this world alive besides some of the drugs are a lot worse than a couple of cigarettes.

Someone suggested to me to have 1 or 2 cigarettes when I wake up as this is when it's at its worse because this is what he does...
When I wake up it's so loud but after 1 or 2 smokes it reduces the ringing by 40% this is the only relief I get but if I take a nap during the day it comes back with a vengeance.
I quit smoking 19 years ago and When I wake up my T is so loud and then I have 2 cigarettes and within 1 hour the ringing in my ear is reduced by 40% and I feel very relaxed. This is working for me also.
