Started tinnitus at 23 after a Yoga accident.
Noise was in my left ear but not too bad.
Had a nasty accident in 2017, where I fell and caught my left eat on the corner of a table. Left me with a hole in my eardrum and then the tinnitus started and tests showed I was about 70 to 80% deaf in that ear.
I had a mould made by my audiologist, which was fitted to an over the ear , hearing aid. When I put it in, it gets rid of my tinnitus. I can have noises through the hearing, which I only use occasionally.
I'm now having one made for my right, which has tinnitus now and again.
