Hey guys,
I am going to give Lenire another shot. My first time using it I did not have any improvement. However, I am now in a much less stressful environment and thought why not. I am also in communication with Neuromod about retrying it. I had my first session today in months. I am trying...
Yes that’s an exceedingly loud beep and a huge liability issue.
In regards to setting a max limit, try going to your Settings, then sound and vibrations, volume, click the three vertical dots for more options and then click media volume limit.
Let me know if that works!
I totally get what you mean. I'm not sure if you can do this but I like to gently cover the speaker of my phone with finger, so that I can still hear the beep but its muffled and not piercing.
Also, just another thing that's unrelated that I might be helpful overall is if you have the sound...
Hey guys, if there is anyone who is based in Europe and would be able to forward me a tongue-tip, I would really really appreciate it! I want to give Lenire another go but Neuromod doesn't ship anything to the United States due to customs. If you are able to help, please message me! Thanks...
My threshold for pain is high as I’ve dealt with pretty bad chronic pain from various things throughout my life, but my tinnitus and distortion debilitates me mentally and physically.
Hi, I always try to put the phone on speaker and away from my ears. I’ve just gotten into a habit of doing this, especially since the dreaded phone beep. In terms of how I’m getting along, I think the beep caused some permanent damage to my left ear, because it randomly spikes very badly ever...
Hey guys,
I have pretty debilitating tinnitus. But I have been due to get surgery on my deviated septum for about a year now and I have been throwing it off because of tinnitus. My deviated septum is unrelated to my tinnitus which was caused by noise.
I was wondering if it is safe to get this...
I have had new sounds randomly develop. If there is no direct noise-related injury, I would expect it to go away. I agree that low sounds can cause new tones. I am currently experiencing a nasty spike because of my iPhone low battery alert that went off when I was on the phone. But, several...
That's good. You're still very early into your tinnitus journey. Tinnitus can take 18-24 months to stabilize. As @Bill Bauer says, its about the global lows. What matters is not the day to day, hour to hour fluctuation, but the fact that you think that the baseline is getting lower.
The most bothersome thing about my experience with Neuromod is how little they seemed to know, or at least how little they let on. Almost every question I asked was answered with a vague response that bordered on "we don't know."
After a year, I would have hoped they could have gathered more...
I’m at my parents place and my neighbors seem to do some sort of yard work every single day. Whether leaf blowing or lawn mowing or something, there is always some sort of noises. I close my windows but I’m wondering if exposure to noises like that through a window are dangerous?
