    Thanks for the reply. Been feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing so good to know sedation doesn't necessarily affect tinnitus.

    Hi Was wondering if anyone had any experience of being sedated for medical procedures and how sedatives affect tinnitus, if at all. I need to have a colonoscopy and will probably require some kind of sedative. Cheers
