My 1 yr anniversary today. I too am very grateful for this site and the people on it. I need someplace where I can say what I need to, and find comfort and wisdom in the folks who like you have survived years with this. I am 65.

Wow, I hate this stuff. Tinnitus continues unabated 24/7 since 2/06/19. Constant. I am suicidal on and off. How could I not be? It keeps me awake at night. I have trouble getting to sleep. I wake up and have trouble getting back to sleep, and I only get real sleep about every three days...

Had a nightmare last night, you know, things chasing you and you are losing ground, adrenaline pumping. Afraid and no way out. Then I woke up and this tinnitus is screaming in my brain. And suddenly I was in another nightmare I would not wake up from. And I missed the quite in the nightmare.
