This has happened around 3 times in the last 2 years and normally lasts around 3 nights. I have no idea why..

Interestingly each time it has happened the week before my T is particularly feral.

Just another random observation, as someone who has experienced both loud and mild tinnitus, for me personally it's like night and day. Right now I can hear it gently buzzing over every day noises but I can push it aside and ignore it quite easily. It comes back into focus perhaps every 10 minutes but again I'm able to ignore it after a few minutes of distracting myself.

When I'm spiking and it's loud this is impossible, I simply cannot ignore it and it consumes me, no matter how hard I try..

I wonder if I will ever be able to ignore my loud tinnitus like I can my mild.

Oh also I hope it doesn't sound like I'm minimizing mild tinnitus, it can be just as debilitating for some. I've just had it a while now so I am coping better.

I've noticed the t in my head gets louder before a quiet spell as well. I wonder why it works like that?
