Well, mine is always changing. I have this low end that started bad, went away, and now is off and on multiple times a week. However, the constant has been a high pitched hiss. It started out as a hiss or soda fizz feeling, then crickets and now it's basically TV static with varying degrees of loudness. So yes, I've improved, but yes, it's constant.

The low end is much more intrusive but it comes and goes in varying degrees from not there, to unmaskable.
