Unfortunately your story is often told to me by Ex TT members that I meet at other tinnitus forums and there are many. You will find the reception is a lot more friendly and far less negative. There are members here that I have much respect for and have a lot to give. This is marred by negative thinking from a few mindless individuals that prefer to argue and be confrontational. Take care...
@Michael Leigh Do you mind giving me the name of other tinnitus forums, please?? I'd like to join another one, I really don't like the negative vibe of this one. I'm a sensitive girl haha so its a bit much for me.
@Michael Leigh Yes that would be nice, thank you. Also, I would love to hear some general tinnitus advice from you as well since it seems like you have more experience living with it and coping well. Thanks.
The design and layout of this forum is nothing short of excellent and I congratulate the Administrator for that. My disquiet and discontent is towards certain members who are negative and troublemakers which is a terrible shame. Try and not let this put you off visiting here.
I hear you @pinkrose16, I don't blame you one bit. I get it, but I still seem to come back several times a week. I've learned to simply keep scrolling on those negative post. I follow several people here but they are those that tend to be supportive. I will say this. You'll need those success stories to get you through this. I'm not where I want to be, but I'm not were I was. Hang in there and God Bless.
Well said @Eloy Resendez Jr I have found the ignore button particularly useful in dealing with people that are a persistant annoyance. They do not help or support anyone they just like to argue and be negative....
