this has been the worst summer of my life. I was in a good place before it started but now I’m back to feeling so hopeless and empty Aug 11, 2019

So conflicted about going to a concert in September, I’ll talk to the ENT I’m seeing soon about it

No concert is worth the torture of increased permanent tinnitus.

it is loud, good call if you are too stressed about the noise.

Feeling better today, my spike has gone down. Trying to do some self-care.

Made the choice to go to a roller rink with my family for a couple of hours and now my tinnitus is up. Permanent or temporary spike?

Rly sucks that I’m so young and have to deal with this, everything fun/social is so loud

Well two years have passed since I was on this forum. I had gotten to the point of habituation. But recently I’ve had a spike so I’m back :(

You are not the first person to report taking risks for years and it being ok, until one day it stopped being ok. Hopefully this will end up being a temporary spike, and hopefully you will adjust your behaviour in such a way that this will end up being your last spike.

Have you been keeping up with Lenire? Maybe it can help.

Same here, same dates. My spike was a higher pitch. How was yours? I don't use headphones anymore

Excited to be on this forum. I've been going through a lot recently along w/ tinnitus. I hope this forum will help me not feel so alone/sad.
