I don't think we're being delusional. fx-322 is going to come out most likely, and give relief to a number of people. If the Oto drug for Syntapathy goes well, it will help a fair number of people too.
My uneducated guess is that there is a 35% chance of something that might work for T being released sometime over the next 5 years.
I'm 50-50! Some days I think it's delusional, other days I think our saviour (or at least a little help) is around the corner. You are still very new to this. Protect your ears and stay away from loud noise and ototoxic medications.
@Bill Bauer Those aren't bad odds. Guessing the odds of something being released the next decade is even higher.
