@Keith Handy , I have so much hearing damage. It seems like such a pipedream but i would totally take you up on this.

In the meantime we can just look through album covers and liner notes. How are you with spoken conversation? I know you've at least done podcasts...

@Keith Handy spoken conversation is fine, weirdly. I can't watch TV without captions, though. The only "music" that isn't distorted badly is windchimes, one note at a time. Macrolides affect central pathways too, though. I have about 500 records just sitting there...

I have ONE downloaded masking track that's boring as hell but I can listen to it without getting frustrated. It has a crunchy hiss that *just* approaches the problem frequency range and kind of blends with my internal noises. I hate it, but I hate it less than *not* listening to it, sometimes.

Monophonic windchime party, ahoy! *sigh*

If i ever start writing again, i think i will have to include a "Monophonic Windchime Party" somewhere.
