    Taking more or less of a drug than you're used to (especially SSRIs) can increase the perception of tinnitus within the brain.

    Just get back on that horse and you'll be right as rain in no time.

    @Hamsti Would you recommend mirtazapine? I'm not depressed, but been thinking about taking it for sleep.

    @Stacken77 I would recommend it. Been on it for little over a year now and no matter how intrusive and obnoxious the sound in my head is I always sleep through like a baby. It also helps you see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you decide to go with then don’t go over 15 mg. That’s when it starts losing its sedative properties

    Thank you so much @Hamsti and @danielthor for your input. I'm going to try to persevere with melatonin and Hydroxzyine a bit longer, but knowing that mirtazapine is an option further down the road is great!
