Just get lots of rest, drink lots of fluids, take lots of vitamins (Zinc, B complex, Quercetin, C and D etc.) eat healthy and you'll be rid of it in no time.
Thanks guys, Im just struggling not to panic. Its 2.30am and I'm up because the fever is not letting me sleep. (I have a cough, blocked nose, 38.8 fever, achy body, headache, and exhaustion) all of them basically haha, I guess I'm lucky
First time I had to go to work with it (feeling like that) because they hadn't (yet) instated the "lockdowns". Can you imagine?
Second time I lay in bed re-watching old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on 4OD. The aching muscles and joints were the worst. Couldn't get into any position that was comfortable.
I thought about you today. I had to take a covid test myself today and it came back negative. So it's "just" a sore throat, but I can't imagine being in your situation. The dread of what MAY happen alone could spike my T, so I feel sorry for you. I pray nothing is going to happen at all.
@Lurius thank you so much for your kind words. We don't know each other, but we know what we're going through with our T, and I really appreciate your words of empathy. So glad you're negative. Take care
@aura I'm pretty much the same. The fever doesn't go down and I feel very unwell, but at least my head is not killing me that much today.. So let's look at the positive
Empathy is not what seperates us from the animals, but what keeps the world from just plunging into full-blown darkness. And Tinnitus seriously teaches you empathy.
But I have to say I really had to smile about you being happy that I'm negative xD I usually say that I'm "not negative, I'm just realistic" :P
@aura to be honest I'm noticing it more but probably because my nose and ears are blocked, and last night I was woken up several times by a new tone. However, I've told myself I'm not going to analyse it because I know I'll get paranoid about it.
@Damocles Hi, much better, almost all symptoms are disappearing. My right ear feels funny though and the smell and taste are completely gone, which is starting to overwhelm me.. Other than that, I seem to be recovering my energy!
That's good @Nadia231, sounds like you're over the worst of it. I expect you should be feeling 100% again soon.
Just keep doing the healthy things, and maybe try some steam inhalation (with Olbas oil) for the ears. The funny feeling could be fluid trapped in your eustachian tubes.
@Damocles that sounds good, I will definitely give it a go. I got some Quercetin as you suggested (+my usual NAC, b12, D, magnesium), so let's see if all that gives my inmune system a good boost!
