I didn't have any attack for 15 days after I focus on healing my neck and TMJ and doing PT, NUCCA, Massages, Dry Needling plus TMJ treatment.

I hope you also find a solution to all this issues, what a nightmare this is.

@NYCGuy wow!! I'm glad you finally found some relief. What did TTTS feel like for you? Did it feel like your muscles were tensed up or tight? And do you still have MEM?

MEM is a typenof TTTS but they are the same. Mine was esr vibrating and causing a sound thump thump and was cause by stretching, yawning o while sleeping on that ear. Thus may be temporary relief we will see. I will Dr Santos this month to discuss surgery

@NYCGuy Hi! appears you had good visit w/ Dr. Santos. It's good he wasn't pushy to do surgery and try noninvasive options first. Interesting note was the risk of hyperacusis. So, this means hyperacusis derives from an injured or severed tensor tympani? How do they see the tensor tympani?

@sakrt The theory is this middle ear muscle are there exactly to protect the ear from loud noises, so when you hear loud noises those muscles react and try to block the sound to protect the ear, so when those muscle are cut off you have no protection to loud noises any longer.

@NYCGuy Yes, that makes sense. Were you able to ask Dr. Santos if T.Tympani could be reattached or strengthened?

Can't even understand this. Just want us all to feel like our old selves again and get our lives back cr@p I even stopped drinking. I'm not the fun girl I used to be. I miss her lol. Feel better @NYCGuy

I have like a tensed feeling in my ears and around my ears.. will it go away?

@sakrt It can be reattached and saw many that happening when doing it with blade instead of using a laser. Santos only uses laser.

@Flowergirl I totally understand, please don't drink, you don't want to bring more harm your way. I suffer from tinnitus but had other health issues now and is hell to be honest.
