Hi @Biaxca sorry late reply I caught the flu and have been in bed these past few days. I would say it would be ok to let doctors look inside your ears but let them know about hearing test that you have hyperacusis before doing the test they will advise if it’s safe enough. Hope you recover soon!

@Sydney13 can you describe you’re ttts? Do your ears spasm to noises? And if so what noises do they spasm to? How does it feel when it happens?

Hi @Sammy0225 ! Yes they do. Not every noise, but some! Sometimes when I’m ripping up boxes, cutlery, if I drop certain things, people’s voices (this is the number one trigger). There’s no pain, but it’s annoying AFFFFF. I hate it so much. Do you have ttts? If so what is yours like?!

It’s mostly my right ear as well. I’ve always had issues with my right ear but it got worse in October! @Sammy0225

@Sammy0225 ive been using magnesium too and I feel like it works with calming my nerves and sound sensitivity! What magnesium do you use? I use magnesium threonate by Cymbiotika in the morning, and then two caps 250mg each of magnesium biglycinate in the evening

@Sammy0225 onset was March 2022, and it took probably around 4-5 months. This one reacted to different things though, mostly burping and yawning or water running. So strange
