@Sammy0225 if you fully make it out don’t forget to post a success story with full details of your sound therapy practice, how you incremented it and in what way so that new comers can greatly be helped from it.

@Sammy0225 omg just seeing this, this is amazing!! So so happy for you, friend. Decreased reactivity as well? Also, if you could say the top 3-4 things that you feel got your here, I’m sure we all would appreciate it :)

#1 months (1-4) I was constantly micro managing. The reactivity was driving me crazy! but even more so, I developed a obsession when really I should have been doing everything possible to distract myself. For new comers I know it sucks and you miss your old life but please keep your mind busy

once I stopped looking for a "magic cure" and started teaching my brain to co exist with the fluctuations the easier life became. Right now it's testing you and if you allow it you will stay stuck In a vicious cycle, trust me..take walks, watch movies on mute, read a book the reactivity will eventually calm down but for right now focus on keeping busy while your ears heal!

2# month (5-6) as some of you know I rented a beach house to get away from everything. I took 30 days to indulge myself into relaxation. I can see now this is what my body and mind needed I wasn't doing sound therapy just yet I was allowing my over active nervous system to relax.

By the end of my stay I noticed the reactivity was still causing daily spikes but they weren't as aggressive as before I told myself I would start sound therapy when I got back home.

For never comers with reactive T, you may not notice but those brief moments of silence when you say "if only it could stay like this"... well that's actually your baseline the goal is to keep it at that same level so you can go back to a semi normal life.

Just know even if it spikes your ears eventually will get back to that baseline after a setback (depending on the setback of coarse) if you need a break I recommend filling a warm hot bath and using magnesium bath salt I got mine from Walmart I used the one with hemp and it kept my baseline calm for a few hours

3 don't rush anything please just know recovery isn't gonna happen over night even though I have made good progress I still have at least another 12 months to improve more. please don't let doctors poke in your ears or overstimulate you with hearing aids You'll know when you are ready to start excepting sound therapy.

I waited half the year but I could have started sooner if I hadn't became obsessed with my fluctuations. I wired my brain to fear sound so my healing was delayed for a few months cause of phonophobia. And if a new tone pops up just know allergies, anxiety, and common colds can cause all types of stuff so don't freak out it'll more then likely fade away.

@ErikaS @Jackson Brady I hope all this info helps! I truly believe most will heal. Remember a big part of healing is emotional response the more you feed it the more it will control you. Using natural white noise for therapy right now the reactivity no longer fights the AC humming and most of the time I can mask it now. God bless
