    The point I was making, however: is that cases of recovery from acute (less then 1 year) of tinnitus are fairly common and not particularly remarkable. Nor are they particularly helpful to those of us who suffer most (chronically and severely) from our affliction.

    @Damocles Got it. Thanks for the info. Sorry about the confusion and coming off as trivializing T suffering. That was definitely not my intention. The first 6 weeks have been absolutely horrible and now that my T has been fading away a little every day, I got ahead of myself.
