I take one day at a time, thank you for asking. I have learned to live with this mayhem. Normally I can endure but unfortunately, I had the flu a month ago and just got rid of the last symptoms. It's harder to manage with a stuffed nose and blocked ears. How are you doing?

Same as you pretty much just taking it day by day. I can totally relate my nose has been blocked due to sinuses, makes it difficult to sleep. I have been able to get out and due some fishing on some local quiet lakes so that's been nice.

Same for me. Had to take Rinexin the end for my blocked sinuses. I also went skiing in the French Alps when I still had issues with my sinuses and cough. The village was at an altitude of 1800 meters and the highest point was 3200 meters. I had a lot of problems with blocked ears. But it was good for my mental health at least.

Good that you have been able to some time in nature. Nature is calming, like back to basics.

Awesome I'm happy you got to enjoy your ski trip, those elevations and cold would scare me with tinnitus lol. I am really hoping I can get back to saltwater fishing one day but the wind on boat rides concerns me now.

Tinnitus has been with me for almost five years. I have somewhat accepted it and for me it hasn't got worse yet. Travel has always been my passion and I won't give that up. I protect my hearing but I know that whatever I do it’ll get worse with age. If it gets to a point where life is not worth living then I’ll apply for VAD in Switzerland.

For how long have you had tinnitus an how bad is it? I suppose the wind at sea can be noisy, but wouldn't it be fine with earplugs in? We all have to just find a way to manage and all people are different.

@Loui Sorry I am just seeing this. I would say its pretty bad I hear it pretty much all day everyday and have had it for 6 months. I guess to me the risk just outweighs the benefits when it comes to hobbies with t. I'm more looking at it from a long term survival point of view I guess. How have you've been? The last month has been rough for me. Interesting new picture too btw lol.

@Ryan Scott Tinnitus is rough but it can get better with time. What do you do for a living?

I almost hear my tinnitus all the time too but I have learned to cope. I continued on with work and life with some adjustments. Of course, I wish my situation was different. I don't particularly enjoy life anymore but I don't want to end it either.

@Ryan Scott sorry to hear that you att struggling. Better days are hopefully ahead. It has been tough for me too lately. It's the routines that keeps me on track. Work, eat, workout, sleep, repeat.

It was taken in a piste named le bouquet which means Ibex in French. My zodiac sign is Capricorn so it was a perfect photo op

@Loui I am a chemical engineer for a plant that makes chlorine but have been working remote since getting tinnitus. Yeah even though its hard and a daily struggle definitely don't end it, who knows help may be closer than we expect. I need to get me some workout equipment for home. You go to the gym or workout at home?

@Loui Hopefully better days are just around the corner for everyone on tinnitus talk. Maybe Shores device really will be everything people have been anticipating on.

@Ryan Scott Great to have the opportunity to work remotely. I usually go to the office because I feel that it's harder to concentrate at home.

I either go to the gym or go for a run. I have an old apartment so working out at home is a no-go.

One can hope Shore's device will be successful and reduces the volume for real. I would be forever grateful to get tinnitus heard in quiet only. I’m kind of traumatized by this experience though and would still be bothered by noise. Unfortunately, we still have ears that are sensitive to loud sounds. But there’s always hope.

@Loui They have these home workout machines called Tonal I want one but I think they are kind of loud. Yeah I agree I would be forever grateful if I could only hear this torture when I go to bed. But after this traumatic experience I would still live like a hermit staying away from noise exposure. Would still be nice to be able to drink coffee outside listening to the birds in quiet.

@Loui How has life been on the other side of the world? How has the weather been? Down here in South United States the temperature has been around 40 degrees Celsius everyday lol.
